[Scandinavian Week] The Saga of Grim Hairy

The Grims saga loðinkinna is following the Saga of Ketil Salmon.

to Play Grim Hairy was the son of Ketil Salmon and Hrafnhildr Brúnadóttir of Finland and he owed his nickname to his being born with black hair that plays in the iron could not bite. He inherited the remains of Hrafnista in Namdalen and he dominated all Hålogaland, on the northwest coast of Norway.

Grim was betrothed to the beautiful Lofthæna , daughter of Harald hersir which reigned over the region Vík ("Bay"). Harald remarried Grímhildr Jösursdóttir, who was mean to her stepdaughter. The wedding night, and disappeared Lofthæna Grim could not find her.

The following year, Grim went to the North Sea, beyond the land of the Sami to Gandvik. His ship was attacked by two Tröllkonur (women-trolls), and FEIM Kleima, girls Hrímnir. Grim was always the three magic arrows, the Gusisnauta (Donations Gusirr) and mortally wounded and slew FEIM Kleima. He heard himself Kleima complain to his father Hrímnir and it said that Grim will never regain the beautiful Lofthæna because she was the victim of a curse of the evil sister Grímhildr. Grim at Play Hairy killed when the whole family of these great hideous trolls.

At the seaside, Grim found a great whale stranded and began to carve because the whale would make a feast. But a group of residents, led by Hreidarr the Bold, came to challenge the body and killed each other until the last two groups for the whale.

Grim was left alone in agony on the battlefield when the most monstrous of Trolls came to save him. Her nose was crooked and looked ugly and sordid. It calls itself " Geirríðr Gandvíkurekkja. She asked him to kiss her in payment and unite with it. Grim agreed to heart-cons because he owed his life and in the morning, he awoke to a beautiful woman, leaving a shell of Troll. He burned the envelope and Geirríðr was really good Lofthæna the beautiful daughter of Harald. She said her stepmother Grímhildr had changed and the wedding night and she could never find its true form as a man would not agree to embrace and unite with it.

Grim returned to Harald Vik and told what had happened. He put a bag over the head of the witch Grímhildr so it does not throw him the evil eye and he killed her with stones.

Lofthæna Grim and had a daughter Brynhildr and he granted to freely choose whom she would marry. Sorkvir Svaðason was spurned and then challenged to a duel Grim ritual.

Grim went to the duel and met Ásmundr , hersir of Berurjóðr. He became a friend of her son Ingjaldr and they went off in a duel against Sorkvir Svaðason and his twelve warriors cats Berserker . Grim was the famous sword of his father, Dragvendil , and he managed to defeat all his opponents.

At that time, the half-sister Grim, Hrafnhildr , a widow of Böðmóður Framarsson, married Thorkell, Earl of Naumdælr, and she had as a child Ketill (II) Salmon, appointed as his grandfather, who went to Iceland. This was the father of Ketill Hrafn, the first President of the Council of Iceland, Helgi and Stórólfur and the latter was the father of Hrafnhildr who was the grandmother of the hero Gunnar of Hlíðarendi.

Brynhildr, the daughter of Grim Hairy Play, married Veðurormr son of Vémundr. Their descendants settled in the east in the interior Jamtaland .

to Play Grim Hairy Hrafnista stayed in and then he had a son, Orvar-Oddr , Oddr to Arrows, also affectionately called the Grand Voyageur Oddr . He was raised by Ingjaldr of Berurjóðr but that's another saga.
